What is Human Factors?
Human Factors Engineering (HFE) is the interdisciplinary field of study of how people interact with different elements in their environment. Be it other people or technology, human factor engineers and engineering psychologist work to understand the capabilities and limitations of human performance. The ultimate goal? Use their knowledge to design and build products, machines, systems, and environments that are safe, comfortable, effective, and easy to use.
